We all know diversity and inclusion are very important. But in our normal life , we seldom have the chance to meet people who have different opinion about value. Do you have any experience live with people who are different from ourselves from body condition, psychology condition,and working experience? We belive that most of us didnot.
From camp to the real world
Camp is a magic place that people can gathering together to spend time together temporarily. This temporary life could called a MINI indealistic world from the reall world. Being with those people who have different values ,diversity of lifes , we could think in our real world that what it will bring to our life ? what we could do in our life? By knowing different Values, people learn to accept or tring to accept.For sure we willl see something different.The mean concept of one camp is "Build a socieaty of Divercity and inclusion".

A island called "Yoshima" which is located at SetoNaikai of Middle west of Japan
One Camp is located at SetoNaikai, a isolated island which is 1km away from Shodoshima island.Kobe YMCA made it a teenager education Camp in 1950.The rustic cabin was built in the dense forest and huged by the worm wind of Setonaikai. There are all kind of traditional camp activities expecting everyone to come.

This the best 4 days 3 nights of YMCA Camp Yoshima. There are 150 adults and kids joined in One camp. There are many YMCA staff lead all different activities. If it is your first time, Don't worry. One camp executive committee has physically challenged people work together, so from different perspective, inprove all the activtivities and try different new ways!

Camp life
Camp 8:00 breakfast 12:00 lunch 18:00 dinner The last day dinner will be made by every camp member from different countries, they will make their local food for the food party. Individuals and Group can choose to join the activities of the ocean or the nature activities in the forest. Let's start from the first day. Day 1 the shower room open from 16:00-22:00, it has shapoo and boday soap. The room has bunk bed or tatami bed,boys and girls all have seperate rooms.
The first day of camp
The first day of camp will have a small tour , from that moment you will be a part of one camp. After put your lugguage into your room, knowing other camp members who you will spend your 5 days with. The camp member's responsibitity is “live together'''do you own things'''Solve problems together' ect.
The last day of camp
the last day is the departure day from the camp. Say goodbye to the camp,friends, leaders,and other camp members, start your new journey.

- Different back groud,
what kind of people are they? - They including physically challenged people and those people who want to join in the camp. Camp mostly give people a image of entertainment or military training.All the camp members creat the life together.
- what did you do in the camp
- The camp life is live a simple life and enjoy the nature. Play in the ocean in the summer time, sending fireworks.Catching fishes in the ocean, picking fruits in the forest, and you can use them t cook delicious food. The canoe and the boat you can use all the four seasons.You can walk through the footpath through the forest, breath the fresh air, watch the stars during the night time, surrounding the camp fire and enjoy the nature.
- what kind of people are the executive committee ?
- The group of people who want to built this camp, from college students to public figures,ladies and gentle man, even the physically challenged people . those people who have no connections with the sociaty.and those staff who work in the Camp.
- Who are those people operate the camp?
- The executive committee in charge of the operating.For those who join in the camp will help for the orperating as well. The meal time is set by the camp organizer, the rest of the activities will be decided by every camp member.
- What the accommodation look like?
- Yoshima is a isolated island surounded by ocean. It could accommode100 camp member, it got dinning room and activity room. The dorm was built in the forest, it got air condition. Live in the nature, enjoy the comfort life. The camp have public shower room.
- what we gonna to eat in camp?
- All the meal we will have in the dinning room, we have professional chef cook the delicious food for us , hamburger, fied fish are very popular among the kids. During the breakfast, the bread and rice are unlimited.we will cook our own food in the camp as well. we will sing together during the our meal, and all of us will enjoy the time.
- Can Blind and deaf people join the camp?
- Yes, of cause. We are still trying to work it out. The facility is not perfect yet, we will have face to face communication about the camp attention. Please decided join the camp or not after you know the details of our camp. The camp life is a Group of people live together (one team is about 8 people) . Not only the blind deaf people but also the physical challenged people could help each other, enjoy their camp life.
- Can the one on wheel chair join in the Camp?
- Yes ,of couse! But according to the landform of Yoshima, there are some inconvenience here. Please contact us and communication with us before you join in the camp.For the inconvenience of the camp life, all out camp member will try our best to help. For the inconvenience of the camp, everyone will find some good way to solve the problem.
- Can family member and friend join together?
- Yes, but the camp life is mostly targeted in independent. Children are live on their own. If they need help, there will leader live with them, but please communicate with us ahead.
- where you can send and pick up your children?
- Mostly the sending place and the pick up place will be Yoshima Camp. On the camp day, other meeting place are: Kansai ( the train station of shin kobe),shikoku (takamatsu train station),Kanto (Tokyo train station),Camp site (shimakatsu shodoshima), Specific location to be notified!
- Can everyone be accepted by the camp?
- Please donnot worry. We will not request camper to do something. So all the camp member are join in the activities on their own will.You will definitely have unexpecting meeting. the executive committee are expecting for your coming.
